YES, AND

TEAM BUILDING
BUILDING BETTER TEAMMATES THROUGH IMPROV & DEVISED THEATRE
OUR MISSION
FINDING PLAYFUL SOLUTIONS TO REAL TEAM CHALLENGES
Creating magic on stage requires intense focus and great teamwork. The concept of "Yes, and" in improvisational theater teaches us to accept whatever offer our partner gives and build upon it. We believe this principal can be applied to many aspects of life--whether on the playing field, in schools, at the office, or even at home with family. (Yes, spouses love it when you agree with them!) By adopting a "Yes, and" mindset, along with other key improv principles—such as making others look good, listening and being present, embracing change, and having fun—you’ll improve your team’s ability to work together. This will help you become more than the sum of your parts and outperform the competition. Our workshops, filled with engaging activities, thoughtful reflections, and amazing performances (by you!), will help you achieve this goal. Let's go!
TRUSTED BY THESE PARTNERS

"WAIT, WHAT DO YOU DO?"

Each “Yes, And” session is tailored to your team’s needs, guiding participants through exercises that build trust, safety, and openness to risk. A typical session looks something like this:
-
Our experienced host enthusiastically greets the group and offers an overview of the day, paving the way for an immersive and fulfilling experience with meaningful group interactions. They will also lead a rich discussion of the main tenets of improvisation and how they apply to other areas of life.
-
Your group will then engage in various improv games and exercises that enhance listening, spontaneity, collaboration, creativity, and most of all…FUN! Throughout the experience, thoughtful pauses are taken to encourage deeper connection to the activities and reflections on how they apply to your group.
-
The session culminates in the grand finale! The team is broken into smaller groups and each group will create and perform an original scene for the other group(s). Don’t worry…every group is given just enough guidance and support to get your creative juices flowing, and then it is up to each individual group to piece the scene together. Then you perform!
The session ends with a debrief and a final reflection that reinforces the days’ work and drives home the message of connection, teamwork, and joy.
WE UTILIZE MULTIPLE VARIATIONS OF OUR WORKSHOP, ALLOWING YOUR TEAM TO RETURN AGAIN AND AGAIN WITHOUT REPEATING THE SAME WORK!
